The diffuser of the Globette - P Hanging Lamp from Ango by Angus Hutcheson is formed by a random configuration of silk cocoons each of which is attached to a hand cast polymer. The first strands are then attached to a hand finished stainless steel. The layers of silk cocoons slowly build up creating the overall form of the piece.
