Pipistrello Table lamp - Gae Aulenti

A design from 1965 by Gae Aulenti for Martinelli Luce. This table lamp resembles that winged mammal, Pipistrello is Italian for “bat”. It looks unusual and active only at night. The white metacrylate diffusor can be moved up and down. The diffuser is of white opal methacrylate, the telescopic foot of stainless steel. Available in 2 coloured models: lacquered base in white, or black brown and a limited edition of 500 pieces with its base in shiny chrome. Height: 66 to 86 cm/ 26” to 34” Diameter: 55cm/ 21,7”, 4 standard bulbs of 25W/E14 included. CE 220V.
