POMPEI Plaid and Blanket - FRETTE

Pompei throw or blanket from FRETTE's Edmond Frette Collection. Pied de poule pattern for this softest cover in 68% alpaca wool, 22% silk and 10% merino wool. Throw size: 140X190cm/ 55X74.8", blanket size 220x260cm/ 86.6X102.4". Made in Italy. Alpaca fleece is a lustrous and silky natural fiber. While similar to sheep's wool, it is warmer, not prickly, and bears no lanolin, which makes it hypoallergenic. Silk, obtained by unreeling the cocoon of the silkworm. Although considered a "cool" fabric in the East, silk helps maintain body temperature and is therefore suitable for insulation in winter.
